Project by: Greenshoot Consulting

Client: Metropolitan Roads Program Alliance

As part of the Fitzgerald Rd Ardeer Level Crossing removal Project, the Metropolitan Roads Program Alliance (MRPA) engaged Kirrae Whurrong artist, Fiona Clarke, to develop a design to be featured on the anti-throw screens and balustrades of a new road bridge.

To support the artwork, interpretive copy and signage was developed and designed to provide a pedagogical experience for visitors. The copy, motifs, illustrations and overall design was developed in close consultation with Fiona Clarke and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation.

The work included development of copy, development of design, coordination with artists to include original sketches, liaise with manufacturers to produce the signage and liaise with the client for final approval and sign off.
