The Nexus is a living complex created by the concept of  ‘stackable suburbs’ where the levels are interchangeable and adapt to the surrounding environment. Each layer has a unique floor plan allowing for varied demographics to inhabit the spaces and create multiple community hubs throughout the structure. The Nexus is designed to be assembled in the place of coastal outdoor car parks repurposing the location to create a high-density affordable living solution. Each platform protrudes from the level below creating a natural undulating incline towards the communal roof gardens. This allows for each layer to have greater exposure to natural light and will create the illusion of a spacious environment in an urban area.
